On Saturday, August 23rd, 8A–12P, Kempsville Christian Church, Virginia Beach Va, will be hosting another Free Church Safety Security De-Escalation Training, as part of the Protecting His Flock Training.Sessions. You must register for it.

The course is being presented by George McCormic, VBPD Retired, a law enforcement and Faith Based Safety Security Training Instructor, with hundreds of trainings in many areas. This event will include both classroom and scenario exercises, to better prepare and equip Church Safety Teams with the tools needed to stop incidents before they happen.

De-escalation is one of the best ways to reduce danger, often by disruptive, aggressive, agitated, angry, attitudes, that can easily turn violent. If you can talk to the subject, and both build a relationship, as well as gaining trust, you can change potential violence into a discussion of how to find help. This makes it safer for all.

There will also be a gift for each of the churches in attendance, to help the church and it’s Safety Team to better Protect and Serve His Flock. But You Must Register To Reserve A Seat, so we can be sure room for all. See email below, or Reply.
